Independent Sales Representative

We are looking for a representative to sell our Go-Be Airplane Tray Sleeves to two audiences: A) Travel Related Retailers, such as luggage stores, and B) Corporations or organizations who want customized Go-Be’s emblazoned with their logo.

We seek energetic, self-motivated individuals who possess excellent negotiation skills and a natural passion for engaging with customers. Candidates must be committed to achieving sales goals with minimal supervision and understand the value of green, sustainable travel. Knowledge about travel trends and the needs of today’s travelers a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Identify networking opportunities and potential leads.
  • Understand product benefits and key features.
  • Arrange meetings with potential and existing customers to present company products.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Maintain professionalism through open and positive communication with both internal and external partners.
  • Provide complete weekly sales reports.
  • Address customer concerns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ outside sales experience in retail or travel preferred
  • Proven ability to drive sales and provide excellent customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build positive/effective business partnerships
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
  • The ability to travel to customers
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong knowledge of social media
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • General knowledge of the travel industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified sales professional (CSP) certification a plus
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation

  • Commission + bonus based on sales quota
  • Additional compensation for trade shows and events
